Two integrated support structures make up the VX-2 suspension: tubular aluminum stays cross, connecting the top of the pack to the top of the hip belt transferring weight directly to the hips--making sure the pack stays snug against the back, even while moving in different positions. A second setof custom extruding aluminum stays are placed in a V-pattern from the load filters to a small plate connecting to the back of the well-padded hipbelt, stabilizing your pack.
