I have been using a Kiva Shelter on Boy Scout campouts for over three years. Our Troop averages 22 nights per year under stars or canvas regardless of the weather. I have spent over 100 nights camping since 4/03. My Kiva gets put up every campout for me or for equipment shelter. I love the ease of its' setup and take down (5 stakes and a centerpole). I can have it up in less than 5 minutes and down and in a bag in about 3 minutes. It has withstood wind gusts of 50-55mph, snow blown half way up the sides and not having a floor is not a problem for me. When it gets put up wet it's easy to drape it over the shower curtain at home to dry it out in a couple of hours. I never pack my Osprey without it. |
