The GoLite Shangri-La 2 Shelter provides an out-of-the-rain haven for two campers, and at a weight of only 29oz, it won't even be noticed when it's in your backpack. GoLite's floorless design can be pitched with the trekking poles you already have on the trip, so you don't need to carry anything but a simple piece of SilLite nylon. Don't confuse the Shangri-La 2 Shelter with some basic tarp. This system covers all the way to the ground and includes a door for easy access plus top venting to reduce condensation.
